Psychiatric drug withdrawal
Antipsychotics and antidepressants help with links below.
Currently it is very hard to get support for this the mental health professionals have a biased approach where by they only hope to keep you maintaining the the treatment plan.It seems to involve the development very good negotiation skills, if this is your course of action ultimately the choice of medication and dose is yours, I read a recent study that indicated very few people were better off with the antipsychotics, and also said that the side effects were actually worse than the symptoms of the original illness.
David Cohen, Peter Breggin in the book your drug may be your problem is my reference for my personal withdrawal it was particularly the fact that that psychosis cannot be plucked out of a person with an antipsychotic medication. and that people get better within 30 to 40 days from psychosis in countries where they did not use antipsychotic medication as a treatment plan and the individuals had a better outcome, having not used it and did not relapse.
It also came to my knowledge The only way a antipsychotic medication can work is by killing parts of the brain. And chemical imbalance only happens once the medication has been put in through medication. Many people found that their Mental Health did not improve, but instead, the sedating effect only made it that they were no longer bothered by the symptoms. it is also found that the individual will find it harder to process Healing the emotional levels as the sedation makes it harder to feel and process the necessary shifts.
my personal experience is as follows with withdrawal the longer you are on antipsychotic the longer it takes to get of safely. withdrawal can cause physical pain and flue type symptoms, the combination of spiritual practice and withdrawal can cause an issue as neuroleptic medication slows down nervous system and in withdrawal while a medication is coming out of your system. Your nervous system will speed up. I do believe this also creates the perfect environment for big shifts of energy associated with kundalini. The medication has blunted your emotions (energy in motion) withdrawal makes working trough emotional trauma more potent.
The doctor will say it is the return of your mental illness or psychosis. This reinforces their belief and training that the medication is keeping you well. The main issue I have with this is that long-term use of psychiatric medication causes complications later in life for instance of the 20 years of use i developed Parkinson’s type symptoms. Not only did the medication cause me weight gain and the associated risks of obesity, chronic heart disease and the diminished quality of life that has almost led me to suicide is a leading culprit in the 15-20 years less life expectancy of people on antipsychotics.
The brain has its own chemistry set, and it will adapt dopamine, and the dopamine receptors are key to safe withdrawal As the medication has killed receptor sites, the brain produces extra dopamine as the medication comes out of your system too quickly. The receptor sites recover and there is too much dopamine. Causing protracted psychosis, which is a medication caused psychosis which is the dopamine hypothesis.

Please comment if you have any further questions or concerns as this could be the most difficult of all to do this alone and I have more experience to share and I trust we have the support from our members.
