I want to become more like the people who are willing to be public about kundalini to hopefully make the world better.
However I always fear what if this will effect my survival/job process long-term. What if my quality of life goes down.
Do you have these fears or have insights to dissolve them?
On one hand I understand for a while it will be a niche thing but not so niche your boss/coworkers can't find you.
You will become oh thats "kundalini annie" or "kundalini john". Forget about networking, that thing many hate anyway but do cause of the benefits WELL FORGET ABOUT THE BENFITS NOW kundalini john! You best be content with your nirvana that is... if you could maintain it in this global sodom & gomorrah...
I feel as if I am rotting holding a treasure inside of me and not sharing with the world. But a part of me senses if I share with the world I will get a lot of negativity in response that I don't want. Yes a part of me still wants to live in decadence instead of balance and be that fragile shrieking person when things are not going their way for a long time (like the negative feedback of the world potentiality).
Even though life is too much in the current society, it can become so blessed. Everyone will blessed. I want that badly. I cried once a month every month for a few years after my awakening at the state of the world and what a colossal mistake we have been making for thousands of years.
We are not invincible. Journalists do get killed for the truth. People who protest governments do get unethical legal charges and then have that on their background checks for a long time like many of the protestors of Occupy Wall Street decades later.
Lower Consciousness rules the world. Yes it is a spectrum/degree of how low depending what part of the world and sector you make contact with.
But it is there.
I agree you can't say you support good if you don't do some good. I am officially not good enough and want to be more evolutionary.
This is the end of my thought labyrinth curious on y'alls thoughts.
Hi
Your question is a question we all ask, in essence what or how do I bring my awakening to the attention of others or my work or family.
In my experience you create more questions than answers and I have found that most people say or respond along the lines of ‘I don’t believe in God’. This is because they don’t have awareness of awakening. And feel threatened.
A way in which you could bring your awakening of consciousness into your workplace is to consider where your organisation is showing a lot of shadow in its business model or people management and use your influencing skills to draw attention to the shadow aspects and the impact on the business.
Try not to fix the world, or create a saviour attitude etc or say ‘hey look at me’ I am awakened.
If you do receive a ‘calling’ to act as a spiritual warrior, this would be something you would not be able to ignore. But if you do get a calling your faith will be tested on many levels.
Hi Dean, thank you for sharing your thoughts, I totally get this!
I recently went to Salisbury cathedral and there is a stained glass window dedicated to, "Prisoners of conscience" - people who died for their beliefs. The sign by the window says, "It reminds us that people are sometimes tortured, imprisoned and killed for their beliefs". Those are obviously extreme examples but it did speak to me because there are many people so strong in their faith/ beliefs, that they are willing to face the consequences in the hope that they can bring about change or because it's more important to live their truth than to live an easy or comfortable life. I found it inspiring, anyway.
On a more personal level, I think we can ask ourselves, "Do I want to protect what I have and stay where I am? Or do I want to trust this process, grow and accept the call to adventure? The call to the unknown?". It can be a slow process of change and acceptance but hopefully that fear can be transformed into excitement for the potential opportunities ahead.
